Kristin Her is the founder of Elevate with Her Coaching and a Certified Parent Coach with a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling. She spent 15 years with Child Protective Services, where she developed a deep understanding of the challenges families face when navigating stress, trauma, and emotional dysregulation. Through that experience, she saw a recurring need: parents were often doing their best, but lacked the tools, support, and guidance to sustain meaningful change at home.

Kristin specializes in coaching parents of pre-teens and teens who are experiencing emotional or behavioral challenges, including anxiety, shutdown/withdrawal, impulsivity, and communication breakdowns within the family system. Her approach is practical, relational, and focused on strengthening secure parent-child connection. She provides 1:1 coaching, workshops, and small group sessions designed to improve communication, emotional regulation, and family stability.

Kristin’s work is rooted in the belief that when parents feel supported and capable, home becomes a safer, calmer, and more connected environment — and children are more likely to thrive.
